COUPLE ALLEGEDLY STEALS N65 JEWELLERIES

A couple, Simon and Glory Bisong,
alleged to have stolen gold jewellery worth
N65 million, were yesterday arraigned before
an Igbosere Magistrate’s Court, Lagos.
Simon, 41 and Glory, 32, were docked
alongside a domestic cook, Joseph Agbeh, 43,
and a businessman, Amidu Musa, 55.

The prosecutor, Sergeant Tubi Olajide, told the
court that the defendants com-mitted the
alleged offences on two separate days.

The defendants pleaded not guilty to the
charge against them.

The presiding magistrate, Mrs O. M. Ajayi,
granted the defendants bail in the sum of N1
million each with two sureties each in like sum
and adjourned till November 25 for mention.
