In the Facebook live video which she did,
she showed herself performing a live miracle
which made her arms extend back and forth
at numerous times. In the video (which she has since deleted), she is seen kneeling and
praying for ‘every vertebrae and disc in my
upper back to be completely gone…’ and then
immediately after, she starts to say ‘Thank
you Jesus… can you see it?… I’m raising it up
so you can see clearly…’

Vegetarian and mum-of-two Tracy Kiss, 29, has
revealed that drinking what she calls 'sperm
smoothies' has boosted both her mood and
immunity. Donated by her male best friend, who
harvests it and delivers it to her up to three
times a week, she preserves the sperm by
storing it in tubs in the fridge.

Also a personal trainer and nutritional adviser,
Tracy adds it with with complementary
ingredients such as bananas, seeds and almond

However, Tracy states sperm contains lots of
vitamins and minerals – including B12, which
vegans like herself lack in their diets.

‘People are so weird about sperm when in
actual fact a teaspoon is filled with amazing
goodness,’ she says. Did her male friend and
sperm supplier initially have reservations about
being her personal sperm machine? Yes.

"When I first approached him, he was
concerned I’d use it to impregnate myself,’ she
admits.
‘But once I’d convinced him it was for
my beauty regime he agreed – after all, he has
a regular supply at hand! I know he’s healthy,
doesn’t smoke, drink or do drugs and I made

‘Every batch tastes different, depending on
what he’s been eating,’ she reveals. ‘If he’s
been drinking alcohol or eaten something
particularly pungent like asparagus, I ask him to

make it taste better, but I’ll happily take it
straight off a spoon usually.’

Tracy also credits sperm for improving her body
complexion thorough her year long facial

JUDGE CONVICTS MAN WHO KILLED WIFE AFTER MAKING ONLINE SEARCH FOR 'THE MOST PAINFUL PLACE TO STAB SOMEONE'(photo)

                                                                                                    

Jose Leonardo, 56, who killed his wife Maria
Mbombo, 52, by stabbing her multiple times,
has been convicted of murder. Leonardo made
a search for "the most painful place to stab
someone" on google before carrying out the act
at their home in Belsize Park, west London,
back in May.

                                                                                                                            

The mum-of-three who was working as a
cleaner at the time of her death, died at the
scene. Leonardo who was a driver for the
internet-based taxi company, Uber, met her in
Holland back in 1988 and they moved to north-
west London in 1993.

Prosecutor John Price QC said there was no
dispute that Leonardo killed her, but he has
claimed it was manslaughter by "loss of
control". On the day of the murder, his mobile
phone was used to make an online search for
"can I survive stab in the eye" and "most
painful place to stab someone." After stabbing
her, he stayed in his flat with his dead or dying
wife for an hour or so, before their kids arrived
and their 23-year-old son Carl dialed an
emergency number in tears.

Paramedics arrived to find him trying to
resuscitate his mother on the floor of a
bedroom. Leonardo slipped out of the house,
tried to buy a bottle of beer in a nearby store
but was refused.

The shopkeeper noticed blood
on his jacket and tried to find out what
happened. He however allegedly replied: "Just
call the police."

Officers arrived to find Leonardo wearing a
white vest drenched in blood and murmuring
"my wife is dead". He has now been found
guilty of one count of murder, but cleared of
one charge of perverting the course of justice.

Leonardo will be sentenced to life imprisonment
today, with his minimum term to be determined.

 Emmanuel Makandiwa is a popular and controversial self proclaimed prophet who founded an interdenominational church in 2008 which later became a fully functional church in 2010. Emmanuel Makandiwa was born
Shingirai Chirume on 25 December 1977 to Lilian Makandiwa . His family eked a living through farming. He grew up in Muzarabani. Both his parents were elders in the Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe Church in Muzarabani. He attended Zengeza High School in Chitungwiza for his secondary education. After completing his secondary education, he returned to Muzarabani. He is married to Ruth Makandiwa. He has two sons, Emmanuel and Victor.
Career as a Pastor
Having been born in a Christian family, Makandiwa used to be part of the team which organised gospel crusades and was one of the preachers. He came back to Harare and was enrolled at the A.F.M’s Living Waters Theological Seminary where he graduated with a Diploma in Theology in 2002. Makandiwa claimed that before he graduated he was called in a vision by God in 1995.
After graduating, Makandiwa went to
Matabeleland where he worked as an assistant pastor under the supervision of Reverend Aspher Madziyire (who was once the President of AFM). He was then assigned to be the pastor of an Assembly in Shangani . In 2004, he was transferred to How Mine and subsequently to Hebron Assembly in Chitungwiza. In August 2008, Makandiwa launched UFIC drawing the attention of many people. It was allegedly reported that Makandiwa was devoting much of his time to his newly formed inter-denominational church (United Family Interdenominational Church) neglecting his duties at his Chitungwiza assembly. Those in the executive interim of AFM gave Makandiwa two options either to remain with AFM or to be with UFIC. As anticipated he chose the latter. In 2010, Makandiwa renamed UFIC to
United Family International Church (UFIC) in 2010.

Controversial Miracles

In November 2012, there was a miracle baby which was born after a certain Chitungwiza woman who had an encounter with Makandiwa got pregnant and delivered a baby within three days of conception. The woman claimed that she had normal menstrual periods which ended on 15 November 2012. On 18 November 2012, the couple went to the UFIM and when Makandiwa was praying for female congregates whose pregnancies had complications, he then declared that there was to be a miracle pregnancy which was to be delivered within a space of hours, days and weeks. The prophecy came to pass but the baby died mysteriously.

At one point, Makandiwa also performed a miracle that saw some of his followers miraculously having money in their pockets and bank accounts.This ignited a heated debate with Gideon Gono who was the then Governor of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe. A press conference was held which was addressed by Makandiwa, Uebert Angel and Gono, Makandiwa and Angel argued that the miracle was based on restoration and not on creation of money.

Babangida Aliyu has said that men also have
a role to play in the kitchen, according to
the Holy Quaran

Aliyu was obviously reacting to President
Muhammadu Buhari’s comment on his wife
in October which triggered a lot of reactions.
The former governor said that by Islamic
tenets men are to go to market and shop for
women.

He posited by citing some sections of the
Islamic injunctions saying: “It is actually the
man that should be in the kitchen as provided
for in the Holy Quran.

“The women should only be in the inner
room.”

He explained that the men should provide
all the needs of the women like making
purchases from the market for the use of
the family because ‘‘Islam does not permit
women to go out indiscriminately they are to
be in the house taking care of the children.”

Aliyu also stated that with the current
economic recession, the husband and the
wife should support each other for the good
of the family and the society.

Hence, he noted that the era of taking many
wives is over because those who hide under
the religion to do so were ignorant of the
provisions.

He said: “What the law says is that if you can
be faithful and fair to two wives you are
allowed to take more than one wife, I don’t see
how a man can be faithful and fair to more
than one wife.

“We cannot afford to continue with this type of
life unless we want to continue like our grand
fathers, marriage is not compulsory. Plan your
lives so that you don’t get frustrated along the
line.”

REVIVAL IN IRAN AS MILLIONS TURN TO JESUS

A great revival is going on inside the Islamic
Republic of Iran, Christian believers who have
planted an “Internet church” in that heavily
restricted Middle East country have disclosed.
“Right now you can see the results of the Holy
Spirit,” Reza, one of the believers, told CBN
News in Turkey where he was interviewed. “From
1994, there were about 100,000 believers. Right
now, there are 3 million. You can see what the
Holy Spirit is doing with the people,” Reza said.
He said this is happening despite the constant
threat, danger, and risk for the believers.

Reza explained that since churches are banned
in Iran, believers use the Internet to connect to
churches in the United States, Canada, Germany,
and Malaysia via Skype.

“The main church is my house, and through the
Internet I connect to everybody,” Reza said.
“That’s why it’s become like an Internet church.”
He said many of the new believers embraced
Jesus Christ after having a dream or vision of
Him.
He himself dreamt of Jesus a “long time back”
and since then Jesus has been with him. “And in
all of my life, He was helping me and I didn’t
know who was this person. Suddenly Jesus
Christ was over there and He said, ‘Come to me.’
And I came to that side and He accepted me,”
Reza told CBN News.

He said many of the believers have fled to
Turkey for fear of their own lives. Despite the
hardship they are facing at the moment, the
believers exude joy as they remain hopeful that
they would eventually achieve refugee status and
immigrate to other countries, he said.
Some of the Iranian refugees who have fled to
Turkey said they are glad to have “come out of
the darkness.”

As he waits for the U.N. office to grant him
refugee status, Christian Afshin told CBN News
that he can now do things in Turkey that he
could not do in Iran like speaking about “God’s
Word to other guys,” freely praising the Lord and
attending church service.

Afshin said he attended the church led by
American Pastor Saeed Abedini, who languished
for years in an Iranian prison. That church was
disbanded following Abedini’s arrest in 2012, he
said.

“As a result, I came out of Iran because day by
day it was more difficult and it was more risky
for me also,” he explained.
Reza is urging Christians worldwide to pray for
the Church in Iran.

“And I’m just begging, really, from the other
believers, from other sisters and brothers from
all over the world, to pray for Iran and to all the
people of Iran to find new God and be familiar
with God, with Jesus Christ,” he said.

PASTOR SHOOTS AND KILLS FOLLOW PASTOR IN OSUN

A pastor, identified simply as Timothy Abiola,
has allegedly shot dead a fellow pastor, who
was also his friend, Pastor Bamiji Ilori.
The Police Public Relations Officer for the Osun
State command, Mrs. Folasade Odoro, who said
this in a statement on Sunday, added that the
reason for the action had yet to be ascertained.
The name of the church of the two pastors was
not stated, but the PPRO said Abiola shot his
colleague with a locally-made gun.
She stated that the gun had been recovered by
the police, adding that the incident happened in
Ikire, Osun State.
She said that the suspect was arrested
following a report made to the police by a
relative of the deceased cleric.
She said, “Ilori had confessed to the police.
Investigation into the killing has started and the
suspect will soon be charged to court.”

RUSSIAN SCIENTISTS AIM AT MAKING MAN LIVE FOREVER IN THE NEXT 7YRS

Human minds could be downloaded into robots
within 10 years, allowing human beings to ‘live
forever’, says the Russian entrepreneur who
heads a hi-tech research project called ‘Avatar’.
Itskov, a media entrepreneur, claims to have
hired 100 scientists to reach this goal – and is
now looking for other scientists to help with the
project.

‘This project is leading down the road to
immortality,’ says Itskov. ‘A person with a perfect
Avatar will be able to remain part of society.
People don’t want to die.’

Itskov, a 31-year-old media entrepreneur, says
that he aims to transplant a human brain into a
robot body within 10 years. He says his
technology will be of interest at first to the
‘disabled and close to dying’
‘I understand these are some very big challenges
for scientists,’ Itskov says. ‘But I believe in
something you call ‘The American Dream.’ If you
put all your energy and time into something, you
can make it a reality.

Itskov envisages surgically ‘transplanting’ a
human consciousness into a robot body within 10
years.
He hopes to then ‘upload’ minds without surgery,
leaving human bodies as empty husks as their
owners ‘live on’ inside robots.

The project is called Avatar after the James
Cameron movie, set far in the future, where
human soldiers use mind control to inhabit the
bodies of human alien hybrids as they carry out
a war against the inhabitants of a distant world.
‘The next effort of science will be to create a
new body for the human being,’ says Itskov,
speaking at the Global Future 2045 conference.
‘It will have a perfect brain-machine interface to
allow control and a human brain life support
system so the brain can survive outside the
body.’

Itskov says that the system will at first be of
interest to, ‘Disabled people and people at the
edge of dying.’
‘The third phase will be to create an artificial
human brain,’ he says – a computer environment
into which human minds can be uploaded.

to use their minds to remotely control androids
who will take human soldiers’ place on the
battlefield.
The Pentagon’s hi-tech research arm, has
earmarked $7million for research into the project,
also nicknamed Avatar.

According to the Darpa’s 2013 budget: ‘The
Avatar program will develop interfaces and
algorithms to enable a soldier to effectively

AGAIN,SHIITE MEMBERS CLASH WITH POLICE KILLING 21

A major but sudden clash between

members of the Shiite Islamic Movement of

Nigeria and the police has caused chaos in

Kano.

At least 21 people have been reportedly

killed in a clash that occurred between

members of the Shiite Islamic Movement of

Nigeria and the police in Kano on Monday,

November 14.

The casualty figure is said to have included

20 members of the group and a police

sergeant whose identity is yet to be known.

However, the police commissioner in the

state, Rabiu Yusuf, put the figure at nine

including the police officer.

But according to a report by Vanguard, a

survivor, Ali Dan’Ali, said: “At least 20

members of our group that included able

bodied men, women and children were martyr

by the police on our way Zaria.”

According to the police, the Muslim group
attacked cars and other properties as they
marched along prompting the police to be
deployed to the area.

A police source said members of the group
killed a police officer and injured three
others, but the group said this was not true.

But Dan’ali said: “We came under attack by
the police around Amana city, and several
hundreds were injured in what appear a
coordinated attempt to broke our procession
and disrupted the historic trek.”

In commissioner Yusuf’s briefing, he said:
“Thousands of Shi’ite members obstructed
motorist and other road users free access to
Kano-Kaduna express way.

“They also attacked innocent citizens,
damaged public and personal property thereby
causing mayhem that could lead to general
disturbance of public peace in the state.

“A combined team of PMF, CTU, SARS and
conventional police were deployed to restore
peace came under attack.

“Shi’ite members who were armed with bow
and arrow, catapult with metalbolts, cutlasses
attacked the police team and killed a police
sergeant, and critically injured others.”

members of the group snatched an AK47
riffle from a policeman, adding that the
police recovered an AK 47 riffle.
He said normalcy had been restored, and
therefore urged citizens to remain vigilant
and report suspicious movements to nearest

Premium Times reports that the clash
happened around Tamburawa, located at
kilometre 20, Kano-Zaria road and on the
outskirts of the state.
It was learnt that the clash happened just as
the police tried to stop a procession
organised by the Shiites as part of a

Residents of Laini Saba slum in Kibera were left

in total shock after an unidentified man

murdered his wife before attempting to commit

suicide. 

The unidentified man from

Kawangware, whose wife abandoned him due to

several misunderstanding resulting to domestic

violence, was believed to have tracked down his

wife where she was with her three children.

On the day of the incident on Wednesday,

November 9, the man stabbed his estranged

wife severally killing her on the spot before

turning the knife on himself but unfortunately

his suicide attempt failed.

According to Nairobi Wire, the man was

admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at Kenyatta

NIGERIAN PASTOR, ARRESTED IN OSUN STATE GOR ALLEGEDLY KILLING HIS COLLEAGUE

                                                                                           

Officers of the Nigeria Police-Osun State
command, have arrested one pastor Timothy
Abiola for allegedly killing his fellow clergyman,
Pastor Bamiji Ilori.

The incident which occurred
recently at Ikire, Irewole LGA of Osun State,
was disclosed to press men on Sunday by the
state Police Commissioner, Mr Fimihan Adeoye.

According to Folasade Odoro, Police
spokesperson; Pastor Timothy’s reason for
killing his friend and fellow clergy with a gun
has not yet been ascertained.

He stated that a relative of the deceased,
Adedeji Ajao, had over the weekend reported to
the police that his uncle, Ilori had been shot
dead by his friend, Timothy, who is also a
pastor.

According to the CP, police detectives were
immediately deployed to the scene of the
incident where the remains of late Ilori was
found with a gunshot injury to his head, noting
that when the suspect was arrested, he
confessed that he actually killed his friend.

Adeoye said that the body of the slain pastor
had been deposited in a mortuary at the
Catholic Hospital, Oluyoro area, in Apomu town,
for autopsy, while the one dane gun suspected
to have been used by Timothy in perpetrating
the wicked act has been recovered from him.

He added that investigation has already
commenced for the conviction of Timothy.

An 18-year-old girl from Kiraini in Nyeri County,

Kenya has been arrested by the police after she

allegedly killed two children over a loaf of

bread.

Leah Wambui pounced on her two nephews

upon discovering that they had eaten the whole

bread without leaving some for her. According

to reports, the suspect used a blunt object to

hit the children while their mother was away.

Neighbours who responded to the children’s

screams said they found them bleeding after

sustaining serious injuries. One of the children

is said to have died while being taken to

hospital as he lost blood a lot of blood from the

cuts on his head.

Speaking to journalists, the children’s mother

confirmed her sons died after they were

brutalized by Wambui.

COUPLE ARRESTED FOR STABBING THEIR NEIGHBOURS WITH BROKEN BOTTLE IN LEKKI(photo)

                                                                                       

33-year-old Paul Nnamdi Obodo and his wife,

Cynthia Obodo, 28 were arrested by Police at

Maroko division, Lekki, Lagos and arraigned

before an Igbosere Magistrates' Court for

allegedly stabbing Moses Ayemi and his wife

Jovita Ayemi with broken bottle 10 times.

The couple were stabbed for allegedly accusing

the suspects of pouring urine on their doorstep

at their Lekki Phase 1 house, were they all

reside. The victims were rushed to the hospital

for treatment.

The suspects were charged on a two-count

charge of felony, to wit: inflicting injury

occasioning bodily harm, offences punishable

under sections 409 and 244 of the Criminal

Laws of Lagos State, 2011. Police prosecutor,

Sergeant T. O. Tubi said the complainants told

the police that they warned the suspects not to

pour urine on their doorstep but they failed to

heed the warning.

The suspects pleaded not guilty to the charge

in the open court and the magistrate, Mrs. O.

M. Ajayi admitted them on bail in the sum of

N50,000 each with two sureties each in like

sum. Ajayi adjourned the case till 28 November,

2016.

MAN BLACK MAILS FEMALE VICTIMS USING NUDE PHOTO

                                                                                                                      

A 35 -year- old man, Michael Atanda, who has
been threatening to expose nude pictures of
four ladies on the social media if they fail to
pay money into his account has been arrested
by the operatives of the Rapid Response Squad
of the Lagos State Police Command.

Atanda, a computer science National Diploma
holder of a popular computer school based in
Ikeja, was arrested on Thursday by the Decoy
Team of the Rapid Response Squad after about
five days of baiting and monitoring.

Atanda, an ex – convict and a father of three,
had collected N121,000:00 from his four
girlfriends with the threat but wanted the ladies
to pay more or face the consequences of
leaking their nude pictures on social media.

Operating as Segun Bayo on facebook and a
graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile –
Ife, Atanda said he went about adding several
ladies on facebook. And, that after two weeks,
he would start chatting with them.

“The profile picture on my facebook account is
that of a guy based in London, and so as part
of my introductions to ladies, I tell them that, I
am a Construction Engineer as well as that my
parents and I are living Europe" the suspect
said

He continued that " After sometime, I would
lure them into sexual conversations during
which, I persuaded them to send their nude
pictures to me. They would send and I would
send mine to them too" .

" Before that I would pretended that I was
seeking a serious relationship with them, and
that very soon, I would be coming to Abuja on a
business trip, during which I would see them”,
he stated.

The suspect continued that “I would again feign
my seriousness by calling them with the aid of
computer software that transforms my Nigerian
line into an international line.

Meanwhile, I would warn them that I was calling
through a public phone booth. As soon as they
have sent their nude pictures, I would come up
with all manners of stories. I would begin to
extort and blackmail them.

Through this means, I have collected over N121,
000:00 from my latest victims.

I was jailed last years in a similarly
circumstance after fraudulently collecting N700,
000:00 from a lady I met through a dating site. I
was eventually bailed but the case is still
pending in court" he confessed.

He further confessed that " I have collected
only 10,000:00 from Funmilola, Motunrayo,
N6,000, Joy, N5,000 and Lizzy, N100,000:00”.

A source within RRS disclosed that apart from
Lizzy, who reported the incident but declined to
press charges, three other suspects, who were
discovered during investigations, acknowledged
on phone calls they have been paying the
suspect so that he doesn’t leak their nude
photographs online.

The source added that even though,
investigators have reached out to more victims
after checking the suspect’s facebook
conversations with a number of ladies.

All of them have refused to come forward, after
confirming they were paying the suspect
through his bank statement.

The source added that out the 210 friends on
his Facebook, over 195 are young ladies.

Confirming the development, the Police Public
Relations Officer, Suprintendent Dolapo Badmos,
said that the Police were carrying out a
thorough investigation on the case to aid
prosecution.

The suspect has been transferred to SCID for
further investigations.

SEX SLAVERY : HOW NIGERIAN TRAFFICKING SURVIVORS IN ITALY ARE HELPING EACH OTHER (Photos)

                                                                                                   

Thomson Reuters Foundation has published
"Princess, a life helping victims of sex
trafficking" a project where brave Nigerian

human trafficking survivors, mostly from Edo
State, shared their lives, stories and how they
are helping each other. This is part of of a
special series "Links in the trafficking chain, a
collection of investigative stories to shine a
light on some of the perpetrators of trafficking.

In this series, photojournalist Quintina Valero’s
images focus on these Nigerian women who
have been trafficked into sex slavery in Italy
after crossing North Africa and the
Mediterranean.

Most of the women are from Benin City in
Nigeria’s southern Edo State. Traffickers often
enslave their victims with crippling debts,
threats of violence and “juju” rituals that bind
them to their pimps through fear.

The main agents of this crime are women,
"madams" who are themselves often former
sex slaves. They recruit girls from friends or
family members.


They deal with the traffickers
who provide travel document and transport and
arrange contact with other madams in Italy.XX
Princess arrived in Italy in 1999, forced into
prostitution to pay off a 45,000 euro ($50,000)
debt to the smugglers who arranged her journey
there. A priest and an Italian man who would
later become her husband helped her clear her
debts, after eight months in Turin. She went on
to set up a charity to help rescued survivors like
herself.

After securing asylum and getting a residence
permit, Princess decided to stay in Italy and,
with her husband, help other victims of
trafficking break out of the sex trade. In this
photo, a Nigerian woman who works as a
prostitute on the outskirts of Asti city receives
condoms from Princess. Princess informs sex
workers of their rights and tells them about
protection programmes available to them.

Many sex slaves do not denounce their
traffickers as they fear something terrible will
happen to them or their families. Princess and
Alberto work with police and border authorities
to identify victims of trafficking as soon as they
arrive in Italy. They place the girls in
apartments that they share between four or five
girls or with Nigerian families. Survivors who
denounce their traffickers are given residence
permits and their families back in Nigeria are
also protected.

In 1999, Princess founded PIAM Onlus with her
husband to help trafficked women and those
trapped in prostitution. These days, asylum
seekers and victims of sex trafficking are
entered into the SPAAR programme (System for
the Protection of Asylum Seekers and
Refugees) set up by the Italian government in
2002.

This allows them to get accommodation,
food, work, education and help integrating into
Italian society.

                                                                                                   

Once a month, she buys food for refugees and
trafficking survivors who live in the city.

Princess gathers with other Nigerian women
after a Pentecostal church service in Asti.

Though most Nigerians are Christians, animist
religious practices remain a powerful tool for
traffickers who threaten victims with “juju”
rituals to ensure their silence.

                                                                                                   

Fatou arrived in Italy in 2014 from Gambia. Her
“madam” gave her $10,000 for her journey to
Libya via Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger and
the Sahara Desert.

                                                                                                

Fatou and Patience live in a shelter for
trafficked women in Asti. 90 percent of women
trafficked to Italy come from Edo State in
southern Nigeria, but there is a rise in young
girls from Gambia like Fatou.

Loveth was forced into prostitution for three
years in Libya, before her trafficker arranged
her trip to Italy in 2014.
Precious entered a protection programme after
fleeing Nigerian criminals who used a machete
to interrogate her about her boyfriend's
disappearance. Her boyfriend was apparently
involved in the sex trafficking business.

                                                                                                                          

Patience, a 28-year-old Nigerian survivor of
trafficking, entered Italy’s protection
programme and now sews Nigerian dresses for
other women in the community.

                                                                                                                       

Precious, Loveth and other women receive
vocational training at an Italian restaurant.

                                                                                                  

Ese, a Nigerian victim of trafficking, works at a
chocolate factory in Asti. She has been granted
a two-year residence permit.

2 KILLED AS RIVAL CULTS CLASH IN BAYELSA

THE struggle for supremacy
between suspected rival cult groups have
claimed two lives in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State
capital.

It was discovered that the incident occurred,
Wednesday, at 9.30p.m., at the Ekeki and
Kpansia suburbs of Yenagoa.

According to eyewitnesses, four arm-wielding
youths accosted a 32-year-old man at the
Ekeki park junction and shot him dead.

The victim, identified as Otoko, popularly
known as Oracle , an indigene of Delta State, is
believed to be a member of a rival cult.

Also at the Kpansia area, some suspected
cultists, were reported to have stormed a suya
spot, lured their victim with a girl and shot him
at close range.

The victim was said to have died while being
rushed to the hospital.

There had been increasing cases of burglary
and stealing, cult-related killings and armed
robbery in the state capital in recent times.

Spokesman of the State Police Command,
Asinim Butswat, could not be reached for
comment, but a senior security officer,
attached to the anti-vice section of the
command said police have achieved a lot in
the area of arrests of cultists and criminals in
the state.

He, however, added: “The setbacks are caused
by poor logistics, shortage of patrol vehicles
and refusal of the public to assist the police
with vital information.”

40-YEAR - OLD MAN, RAPES, IMPREGNATES 12-YRS WIFE'S NIECE

ABUJA—A 40-year-old man, Livinus Andoma,
has been arraigned before Gudu Upper Area
Court for allegedly raping and impregnating a
12-year-old girl (names withheld).

The victim is a relation of his wife and stays
with the couple as housemaid in their
Lokogoma area of Abuja residence.

According to a prosecution witness, in April
2015, the accused allegedly lured the girl
into his bedroom, raped her and threatened
to kill her, if she disclosed the incidence to
anyone.

Andoma allegedly continued to sleep with
the girl until she became pregnant.

In what appeared to be a mild drama, one
Moses Anukia, told the court that the same
matter had been filed at an FCT High Court;
arguing that the Upper Area Court could not
entertain the suit.


However, the presiding judge of Gudu Upper
Area Court, directed the prosecution team
to find out the true position of the matter
and report back.
